Riccar Odor and Stain Eliminator is a unique proprietary blend of micro-encapsulating compounds, deodorants, and enzymes that break down any starch or protein-based stains on surfaces into micro droplets that are then surrounded by unique encapsulating compounds. Its non-detergent formula envelopes the broken down stains and odor-causing materials and dries into a fine inert micro particle that is easily eliminated by dusting, wiping or vacuuming. Works on both fabric or hard surfaces. Enzyme formula breaks down protein- and starch-based stains and odors. Use on carpet, upholstery, tile, curtains and bathroom fixtures.
HELPFUL TIPS:
1. Odor and Stain Eliminator can be used as a fabric odor remover and general odor remover on any water safe surface. Simply spray the surface to slightly dampen, and allow to dry. It's perfect for lockers, shoes, gym bags and other places that harbor odors.
2. In bathroom areas, spray the area around toilets, sinks and showers to eliminate odors. Be sure to spray the shower curtain.
3. Dampen a microfiber cloth with Odor and Stain Eliminator and use as damp dust/wipe to leave areas clean and odor free.
4. When using Odor and Stain Eliminator as a carpet stain remover, first remove as much of the excess liquid as possible. Set the sprayer to Stream, and surround the stain with a stream of product 6" to 8" away from the outer edge of the stain. This prevents the stain from wicking beneath the carpet to later return. Liberally apply Odor and Stain Eliminator to the stain, and tamp with the edge of a spotting brush, allowing it to penetrate the stain for several minutes. Lightly brush the stain with a clean, white microfiber or terry cloth, but do not rub. Blot the stain to remove. After the area is dry, vacuum thoroughly to remove any remaining particles.
